Justice for Antoine Jermaine Lax: A Mother’s Cry for Truth and Peace

πŸ’” Justice for Antoine Jermaine Lax: A Mother’s Cry for Truth and Peace By Minister Crystal Lashelle Lax Indianapolis, IN — October 2025 On September 4, 2025, the life of Antoine Jermaine Lax, born April 1, 1987, was violently taken in Houston, Texas.

Antoine was only 38 years old a kind, generous man who believed in helping others, uplifting young people, and finding purpose through faith.

Antoine had recently moved to Houston, seeking new job opportunities and a fresh start.

Just three days after settling in, he returned to his room at

InTown Suites, 12010 Kuykendahl Road, unaware that his life was about to be cut short.

According to reports, Jeremy Davidson, a white man with a history of racist behavior,

shot Antoine multiple times in the back, murdering him on the hotel property.

Two guns were recovered at the scene by police.

Despite this, mainstream media has remained silent about the tragedy

a silence that speaks volumes about how justice for Black victims is too often ignored or delayed. Now, his mother, Minister Crystal Lashelle Lax, is calling for justice and legal accountability.

The Lax family is seeking attorneys willing to represent them in pursuing lawsuits for wrongful death and negligence surrounding Antoine’s murder.

The family believes there have been deliberate efforts to suppress coverage of the case and keep the public unaware of what really happened.

Minister Lax, who resides in Indianapolis, has been enduring not only the heartbreak of losing her son

but also ongoing harassment and cruelty from individuals online and in her community.

Instead of compassion, she and her children — Dominique Sandra Marie Lax, Natisha Vernelle Lax, and Anthony Maurice Verlin Jones

have faced mockery, cyberbullying, and illegal video recordings aimed at exploiting their grief for social media profit.

“How cruel can people be?” Minister Lax asks. “My son was murdered.

I’m living with heart and kidney failure myself, and all I ask is for peace, prayer, and justice. Not public humiliation.”

This situation reflects a larger crisis in America where Black lives are too often devalued,

and grieving families are left fighting not only for justice

but for their dignity in the face of online exploitation.

Every time another Black man is killed by racist violence, society scrolls, shares, and debates

but rarely stands in solidarity with the families left behind.

Antoine’s story deserves to be told. His name deserves to be spoken. His family deserves justice — not silence, not ridicule.

If you or someone you know can offer legal support, investigative assistance, or public advocacy, please reach out.

Minister Crystal Lax continues to pray for strength, for healing, and for truth to come to light.

Let us remember Antoine Jermaine Lax not as another statistic, but as a beloved son, brother, and man of faith whose life mattered.

πŸ•Š️ Justice for Antoine. Justice for every Black life silenced by hate.
