Minister Evangelist Crystal Lashelle Lax is a writer, advocate, paralegal, and medical professional whose life story reflects resilience, faith, and unwavering determination. 

She is the Founder and CEO of Jesus Christ Ministry LLC (JCM), 

a faith-based outreach committed to healing, restoration, justice, and empowerment for individuals impacted by trauma, abuse, homelessness, and systemic injustice.

Crystal is a survivor of severe abuse, homelessness, and cruel mistreatment. Rather than allowing her past pain to harden her heart or define her future, she chose healing. 

Through professional counseling, spiritual growth, and intentional self-work, she developed healthy coping skills and discovered the power of journaling and writing as a pathway to emotional release, recovery, and purpose.

Her writing journey began as a form of personal healing and evolved into a calling. 

Crystal entered writing contests and, early in her journey, won a prize that included a luncheon with the legendary John Denver. 

Though unable to attend due to childcare challenges at the time, the recognition affirmed her talent and strengthened her resolve to keep writing despite life’s obstacles.

Today, Crystal has authored over 20 books and counting, published on Barnes & Noble and Amazon, covering faith, resilience, justice, mental wellness, trauma recovery, and inspirational empowerment. 

While she continues to advocate for fair treatment regarding unpaid Amazon royalties, she remains steadfast in her mission to write with truth, courage, and impact.

On September 4, 2025, Crystal experienced an unimaginable loss when her beloved son, Antoine Jermaine Lax, was murdered by gun violence. 

Antoine was shot multiple times in the back and died on the property of InTown Suites, 12010 Kuykendahl Road, Houston, Texas. 

This devastating tragedy deepened Crystal’s commitment to justice, healing, and speaking for those whose voices have been silenced.

Through her ministry, writing, and advocacy, Crystal stands as a voice for the wounded, the overlooked, and the grieving transforming pain into purpose and testimony into transformation. 

Her life and work are living proof that faith, perseverance, and truth can rise from even the darkest chapters.
