The Bible, wickedness is not just making a mistake; it is a persistent, willful opposition to God’s nature.

Pride and Self-Sufficiency: Not trusting in the Lord God Almighty.

Arrogance and the belief that you do not need God's guidance.

Exploitation: Intentionally harming, manipulating, or oppressing the vulnerable and the poor.

Rejection of Truth: A hardened heart that refuses to accept correction or instruction.

In religious teachings, there is a fundamental distinction between the "wicked"

 (those who actively reject God's standards

 to serve themselves) and the "righteous" 

(those who seek to follow God's will).

God judges wickedness based on the inward intentions and thoughts, not just outward actions.

Proverbs 6:16-18: "There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: 

(haughty eyes, Arrogant boastful 

stingy spirit prideful proudness)

a lying tongue, 

hands that shed innocent blood, 

a heart that devises wicked schemes, 

feet that are quick to rush into evil.

.."Mark 7:20-23: Jesus teaches that "out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit...

Oppressing the poor or weak (Proverbs 17:15)

3. The Ultimate Contrast Scripture frequently contrasts the "righteous"

.Proverbs 15:9: "The Lord detests the way of the wicked, but he loves those who pursue righteousness
