17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Jude 1:14-15: "Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, 'Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment on all...'".

1 Thessalonians 3:13: "...may He so establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints".

Zechariah 14:5: "...Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones [saints] with him".

Revelation 19:14: "And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses" (often interpreted as the saints returning with Christ).

Colossians 3:4: "When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory".

Jesus and the saints are prophesied to return to Earth together to execute judgment, end the tribulation, and establish a kingdom. 

This event follows the "Rapture," where believers are caught up to meet Jesus in the air and then return with Him, often described as a triumphant army appearing with him at the Mount of Olives. 

Key Details of the Return:

Purpose: Jesus returns with His saints to reign on earth and bring judgment upon ungodly deeds.

Timing: The return happens at the end of the seven-year tribulation period, rather than before it.

Witnesses: The event will be visible to everyone on earth, with "every eye" seeing Him.

The Saints' Role: Believers (saints) who were previously taken to heaven (raptured) will accompany Jesus in his return.

Atmosphere: It is marked by signs including celestial events, earthquakes, and great judgments. 

Biblical and Theological Perspectives:

The Second Coming vs. Rapture: The Rapture is Jesus coming for the saints, while the Second Coming is Jesus returning with them.

Mount of Olives: Many believe Jesus will physically return to the same location from which He ascended.

Finality: His coming signals the end of the current age, the condemnation of evil, and the start of a reign of peace.
