Exodus 14, God delivered the Israelites from Pharaoh's army by parting the Red Sea
(often referred to as the Sea of Reeds),
allowing them to cross on dry ground, then closing the waters over the pursuing Egyptians.
This miraculous event occurred after Pharaoh regretted letting them go, trapping them between the sea and his army.
Key Details of the Deliverance
The Trap: God directed the Israelites to camp by the sea to entice Pharaoh to pursue them, demonstrating His power to both sides.
The Parting: Moses, acting under God's command, lifted his rod, and a strong east wind divided the waters, creating walls of water on both sides.
The Escape: The Israelites crossed safely through the center on dry land.

The Judgment: The Egyptian army, including horses and chariots, followed, but God threw them into a panic, and the waters returned, destroying the entire force.
This event served as a definitive moment of liberation for Israel and a demonstration of God's power against Pharaoh's rebellion.
